Business Roundtable Institute for Corporate Ethics Academic Advisors and Advisory Council Member Named to Top 100 Most Influential List in Business Ethics

Ethishpere Magazine 100 Most Influential in Business EthicsCharlottesville, VA, January 14, 2009--Academic Advisors Patricia Werhane and Ed Freeman and Anne Mulcahy, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Xerox Corporation who serves on the Institute's Advisory Council, have been recognized by Ethisphere Magazine as being among the top 100 most influential professionals in the field of business Ethics.

Both Professors Freeman and Werhane were nominated in the category of Thought Leadership, which evaluated the question: Did the individual conceive of new approaches or otherwise materially contribute to the field of business ethics theory in a way that could be easily applied by corporate leaders?

Ms. Mulcahy was selected in the category Business Leadership, which recognizes executives who "substantially transform a specific business’ operational practices consistent with profitable ethical leadership, forcing competitors to follow suit or fall behind."

Ms. Mulcahy and Professor Freeman are repeat selections from Ethisphere's inaugural 2007 list.
