October 21,
2005
(8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
The Wharton School of the University of
Pennsylvania
Philadelphia, PA
Join
your peers on October 21, 2005 and take part in
shaping the ethical future of business
practices.
This full-day, interactive forum
challenges senior executives to share best
practices and best thinking for addressing
difficult ethical issues and to discuss how to
embed ethics into business practice.
Co-sponsored by the Institute and by
Wharton Executive Education — the Senior
Leadership Ethics Seminar will be held at the
Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania
on October 21, 2005.
From reactive to deliberate —
creating an ethical environment in the
workplace.
Unlike many discussions related to business
ethics, this seminar will take the conversation
beyond mere regulatory compliance toward an
enterprise vision of ethics — making corporate
values and ethics an essential part of everyday
corporate decision-making. Modules from previous
seminars have included:
- Does Ethics Pay? – The Research
- Ethics and the Role of Executives
- Embedding Ethics in the Corporate
Culture
- Creating an Ethical Framework
The seminar’s co-leaders,
Thomas Donaldson
of the Wharton School and R.
Edward Freeman of
the Darden School, are highly regarded business
ethics professors with a wealth of real world
experience and knowledge. Both serve as Academic
Advisors to the Institute.
