    The Camp Family

    The library is named for the Camp family of Franklin, Virginia, who supported building the facility.

    What We Do

    • Support learning, research and teaching at Darden
    • Acquire, organize, preserve and provide access to electronic and print information resources, including a heavily used Class Reserve collection
    • Assist faculty by providing reference service and document delivery
    • Maintain a periodical table of contents database and inform faculty of newly arrived issues by email
    • Assist and guide students in their career and scholarly research
    • Provide guidance to students and faculty on content and use of electronic databases
    • Extend information services to UVA and the wider community  

    Our Resources

    • Subscriptions to approximately 50 business and economics databases
    • Access to more than 500 general and non-business subject-specific databases
    • More than 100,000 volumes and 800 current periodical subscriptions in our business collections
    • Darden users also have access to books and periodicals in the UVA library system
       

    Our Facility

    • Designed in 1986 by Robert A.M. Stern architects and conveniently located in the Student Services Building
    • Our reading rooms offer a quiet sanctuary for study and research
    • Often used by the student-led Darden Capital Management club, the Gregory L. Large Capital Markets and Entrepreneurial Resource Center features two Bloomberg terminals, wall monitors for displaying screens to a group, and student workstations featuring dual monitors
