The University of Virginia Darden School of Business MBA for Executive (EMBA) classes meet about once per month in Charlottesville, Virginia, for three days (Thursday, Friday and Saturday). Spread throughout the 21-month program, there are also four one-week leadership residencies, one of which is international. In between residencies, approximately one-third of the program is delivered via distance learning. To provide you a sense of the timing for your on-Grounds residencies (leadership residencies as well as term meetings), view the proposed calendar below: Proposed Class of 2016 Academic Calendar: MBA for Executives (PDF) (click to enlarge)The calendar notes when residencies are held and when final projects and exams are due. An important element of the program is the opportunity to interact in the evenings when you are at Darden; all students are expected to be in residence when on-Grounds classes are in session.
