Oliver Wight Professor of Business Administration Emeritus Edward W. Davis headed the Operations area at Darden. His research and expertise are in the areas of supply chain management, operations strategy and global sourcing. He has authored more than 100 case studies and numerous articles and is author or co-author of three books on supply chain management, project management and production management.

Davis joined the Darden faculty in 1978 after teaching at Harvard Business School, Sloan School of Management at MIT and the University of North Carolina.
