Welcome

Approximately a third of Darden’s student body is made up of international students, representing dozens of countries and a multitude of cultures. These global perspectives add valuable dimension and depth to class discussions. Courses and case studies addressing global business issues, international faculty members, exchange programs with leading MBA programs around the world, and programs which enable students to study business and culture firsthand in an international setting—all of these experiences add to the global scope of Darden's programs. Our graduates are equipped to be responsible, effective, and action-oriented leaders in any field, in any country.

Our faculty, many of whom are from outside the US, teach, consult and do research around the world; our students have lived and worked in a multitude of countries and speak diverse languages; a percentage of the required curriculum and almost a quarter of our electives have global content; and our global alumni network spans the world.

On any given week, we may have a distinguished global speaker, an international food festival, faculty doing consulting work abroad, or the Dean hosting a guest from outside the United States. This website paints the whole picture of “Darden Around the Globe.”
