Biography

Robert M. Conroy, J. Harvie Wilkinson, Jr. Professor of Business Administration, serves as Associate Dean for MBA Education at Darden. A professor in the Finance area, Conroy has published numerous articles and authored dozens of cases on capital markets. He also directs the international efforts of the Tayloe Murphy Center, an academic center at The Darden School which develops and promotes relationships with Virginia businesses, fosters international educational and corporate partnerships, encourages the growth of Virginia businesses, supports economic development, and conducts research. Much of Conroy's recent research focuses on Japanese financial markets. He has taught at the International University of Japan in Niigata.
Before coming to Darden in 1988, Conroy taught at the University of North Carolina and Duke University.
