Venturing Darden Business Projects

Develop a Venturing Darden Business Project (Venturing DBP). Darden offers this targeted program to offer students a chance to frame issues, analyze data, and present solutions in a real-world environment with the expert guidance of Darden faculty. DBPs can have a venturing focus: doing a Venturing DBP gives an individual student or team of students a chance to develop a business concept--perhaps even pilot test the concept--to achieve personal entrepreneurial goals.

Below, Philippe Sommer, Director of Darden Entrepreneurship Programs, describes in a two-minute video clip how students can gain valuable practical experience by completing either a Darden Business Project (DBP) or Venturing DBP while at Darden.

Proposals for DBPs due:  December 2009

Course registration:  January 2010
