MBA for Executives
The MBA for Executives admissions committee – comprised of MBA for Executives teaching faculty and admissions staff – reviews each application with an eye to the whole person. This includes your individual and unique backgrounds in the areas of:
- Professional: the breadth and depth of your professional background. Your level of management responsibilities (e.g., oversight of staff, budget, projects, operations, etc.), career progression and demonstrated leadership.
- Intellectual: your potential to succeed academically as demonstrated through your undergraduate/graduate academic record, GMAT score, letters of recommendation, and work experience.
- Personal: the unique traits you will bring to the Darden learning community; your ability to work in a diverse group as part of a learning team; your leadership potential; your commitment to others (community service); your interpersonal communication skills, etc.
We also review carefully your company’s endorsement of the time commitment required to complete the program. The Admissions Committee seeks candidates who are considered high potential leaders with a current professional development plan.
