MBA for Executives
Darden’s MBA for Executives program utilizes a blended model of program delivery that gives you a great deal of flexibility while still creating our hallmark high engagement learning community - a core value of the Darden School.
On-Grounds Residencies are scheduled in Charlottesville, Virginia about once a month. In between residencies you engage in virtual learning team meetings as well as online academic sessions with your faculty. This blend of on-site and distance learning allows for the development of a strong learning community (a key value at Darden) while also minimizing the number of trips you have to make away from home and work.
Our blended format also provides you freedom to study online anywhere at any time during your distance periods. Online academic sessions are available as recordings for students not able to attend when scheduled.
All of Darden's MBA for Executives technologies have been designed for ease-of-use and Distance Learning. They include:
- The MBA for Executives Student Portal – your gateway to the Darden intranet; provides you one-stop access to the resources and information you need to successfully operate in the program.
- SharePoint 2007 Learning Management System – includes all course-related schedules and materials as well as the environment for asynchronous and synchronous discussions.
- Adobe Connect – allows you to hold live, online meetings with your learning team and faculty. Also allows sharing of documents and collaborative editing.
