Darden Professor Gregory Fairchild will be in Richmond, VA, on Oct. 18 to present Moving Towards Plurality: Emerging Domestic Markets in America and What They Mean for Business and Governments" as part of the University of Virginia's Engaging the Mind lecture series.
Fairchild's research, which has received several awards, focuses on entrepreneurship and economic growth, managerial innovations, and management trends. His lecture will explore the topic of how demographic and social change produce growth opportunities for businesses and governments in America.
This lecture is a partnership between the University of Virginia and Virginia Union University. It will take place from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center, The Belgian Friendship Building, at Virginia Union University in Richmond.
All Engaging the Mind lectures are free and open to the public, and provide opportunities for people throughout Virginia to engage with UVA's top scholars and teachers in a public forum.
