Upcoming events and initiatives include:April 20151 April 2015 | World Water Day Panel DiscussionUVA Darden School Professor Peter Debaere is co-chairing a series of world water events in March, 2015 with Brian Richter from the Nature Conservancy, including a panel discussion to be held on 1 April 2015 from 1:30-2:45 pm at the Darden School (Room 170) entitled" "Water Crisis in California: Opportunities for Innovation.” This forum will feature innovative solutions to address the water shortage in California, with panelists including Leon Szeptycki from Stanford University, Jon Radtke, director of Water Sustainability from Coca-Cola North America and Walter N. Norley, chief executive officer and founder of OnGolf and UGMO Technologies. This event is free and open to the public. Tickets are available on the Tom Tom Founders Summit website. 30 April 2015 | P3 Impact Award Application Period ClosesConcordia, the U.S. Department of State Secretary’s Office of Global Partnerships and the UVA Darden School's Institute for Business in Society will present the P3 Impact Award at the Concordia Summit in September 2015 in New York, New York, to recognize leading public-private partnerships that improve communities and the world.
