Operations Coordinator
The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for detailed administration and customer service demands for Executive Education customers including maintenance and distribution of program specific materials and general program support. Will serve as the help desk point of contact for participants and faculty.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred) and three to five years experience in an office management and/or special events capacity. Proficiency in Word, Powerpoint and Excel required and must be comfortable in learning/working with other software applications. Excellent customer service and organizational skills are required. Client Operations Manager
The Darden School Foundation is currently seeking an individual to join our team that manages executive education events and programs delivered at Darden and at other US and international locations. Responsible for the coordination of all aspects of assigned events, managing communications, program logistics and overseeing program administration with the goal or providing extraordinary customer service.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 4 years business and/or administrative experience in a customer relations capacity
- Event planning or event management experience preferred
- Must be systematic, detailed and well organized
- Ability to interact effectively with client contacts, in-house management and faculty
- Must be an independent thinker able to handle a variety of complex tasks simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including written, verbal, listening and presentation required. Candidate should be comfortable speaking in front of large groups.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in a second language desirable
- Ability to use standard office software, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and experience in database and internet applications required

Advancement Associate for Stewardship
Will coordinate donor stewardship activities and events, assist with donor research and provide administrative support duties to the stewardship and operations
functions of the Advancement team. Will work closely with members of the
Advancement team, Alumni Relations staff and Darden community.

Business Analyst
Responsible for data analysis, data mining and fundraising progress reports and demographic analysis of donor prospect base in the system of record (Advance) and CRM systems (iModules and Salesforce.com). Research Analyst
The Partnership for Leaders in Education (PLE) is a joint collaboration between the Darden School of Business and the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia focused on improving school outcomes by strengthening school and district leadership. The PLE works closely with low performing schools and districts across the country through the School Specialist Turnaround Program (STSP) to improve the structures and practices that influence student outcomes.
PLE is seeking candidates for the position of Research Analyst to assist with the Federal Content Center on School Turnaround. The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of educational issues and understand how to translate research into actionable recommendations for state and local policy. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: contributing to national planning meetings on school turnaround technical assistance, conducting literature reviews, writing research syntheses and briefs, and preparing technical assistance presentations. The successful applicant will also work with the research director to draft manuscripts of larger research projects. The Research Analyst will ensure professional quality communications with verbally and in writing. He/she will work closely with the research director to complete specific projects and will work independently to develop projects related to education leadership.
The position requires a master’s degree in education, public policy, or a related field. Some experience with education research is preferred. The successful candidate must possess strong writing skills and knowledge of research design and statistical methodology.
This is a 40 hour, full-time, benefits-eligible position. This position is funded by research grant awards; therefore continuation of employment beyond the first 24 months is dependent upon the securing of funding by the Principal Investigator.

- Required Experience: 2-5 years of experience in education research or evaluation. Must have experience conducting literature reviews and writing briefs or research syntheses.

Alumni Career Services Associate
The UVA Darden School Foundation seeks an organized and detail-oriented person for the position of Alumni Career Services Associate.
The Associate will provide administrative support to the Alumni Career Services office. Will serve as point of contact for alumni clients by providing an explanation of services, directing to provided resources and establishing file information.

Development Officer

Director, Business Development, Executive Education
The Director of Business Development, Custom Programs, will be responsible for the development and growth of profitable new business and will develop and maintain key customer relationships in accordance with organizational strategy. The role requires the identification of business opportunities for custom programs, the development of sales leads, the ability to negotiate and close business deals and the ability to work with faculty and other directors for the purpose of program design and delivery. Individual will be responsible for meeting annual sales goals set by the Sr. Associate Dean for Executive Education and the Managing Director for Custom Programs. Role encompasses new business development along the East Coast and Southeast region of the US and will require some travel for on-going customer account management.
Master’s degree, ideally in business administration, human resource management or other relevant field required. 10+ years experience in sales and marketing in selling high end professional services is desired. Hands-on experience in Executive Education would be a plus, as would knowledge of key sectors: finance, aerospace/defense, energy, pharmaceuticals and professional services. Proven revenue generation.
