The Darden School of Business is a thriving and diverse community of students, faculty, professionals and alumni. The women and men of Darden represent a diversity of racial, ethnic, religious, cultural, socio-economic, marital and sexual orientations. In addition, the Darden community is rich in its diversity of perspectives and world views, and we actively seek to include those perspectives in all forums of the School, including our discussion-based classes, speakers and other special events.
Creating a diverse class of incoming students is important, and the admissions staff in each of our programs — MBA, MBA for Executives, Global MBA for Executives, PhD and Executive Education — works tirelessly to recruit and attract the best students to Darden. Once students are here, the faculty is devoted to creating a learning environment that allows everyone to succeed.
In addition, the Office of Student Affairs and the various student-led clubs and organizations provide academic and social support to ensure that students get what they want and need from their experience at Darden. At the end of their Darden career, students transition to alumni, who continue to help sustain and improve our thriving and diverse community.
