Memorial or Class Scholarships

Memorial or commemorative endowed gifts can be meaningful ways to honor the memory of friends, family members or even a particular class at Darden.

Memorial and Class Scholarships

Class Scholarships

The Classes of 1957, 1958, 1962, 1965, 1967, 1968, 1972, 1974, 1975, 1977, 1982, 1986, 1987, 1979, 1990 and 2003 have all established a scholarship in honor of a special reunion year, a fallen classmate or a beloved Darden professor.

Memorial Scholarships

Named scholarships can be created as living memorials that honor a lost family member, friend or mentor.

For example, in the spring of 2009, at the Class of 2004’s 5th year reunion, the family of Vincent D. Choe (MBA '04) announced the creation of the Vincent D. Choe Memorial Scholarship to honor his memory and to continue his legacy through “talented students who love Darden as much as Vince.”
