An unforgettable weekend awaits you. Spend time with old friends and beloved faculty. Experience Darden’s world-class hospitality and fabulous food. Attend class parties on and off Grounds, meet friends under the tent at the Foxfield Horse Races, dance to live music at the Gala and enjoy other scheduled events.

We will welcome back to Grounds the classes ending in 4s and 9s, in addition to the 2013 MBA, MBA for Executives and Global MBA for Executives classes. Abbott Society members (1957-63), who have celebrated their 50th Reunion in past years, are all welcome.

Travel and Accommodations

Make your travel plans and accommodations reservations early. Reunion weekend is a busy time in Charlottesville due to Foxfield weekend, weddings and other reunions. A variety of hotel blocks have been reserved for your convenience. The nearest airports include Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport (CHO), Richmond Airport (RIC), Dulles International (IAD) and Reagan National (DCA).

Complimentary Child Care and Family Events

Darden is pleased to offer complimentary child care for children older than two weeks and younger than 11 years at a licensed child care facility near Grounds. Child care is available on Friday and Saturday evening and space is limited so register early. The Darden Barbecue and Field Day on Saturday is family-friendly and includes face painting, moon bounces and more to entertain your children while you enjoy time with friends.

Weekend Schedule

View the weekend's schedule of events. On Friday, enjoy lunch followed by engaging case discussions with favorite faculty, followed by the welcome cocktail reception and class-specific dinners on and off Grounds. Saturday begins with breakfast, Dean’s State of the School Address and several afternoon options including the Darden Barbecue and Field Day, Foxfield Races or Monticello tour. The evening Gala delights with cocktails, class-specific dinners and dancing under the tent. Enjoy brunch with classmates on Sunday before departing Grounds. Registration is a la carte so you may attend any parts of the weekend that your schedule will allow.

Reunion Committees

Join a team of volunteers to help plan a Reunion your classmates will remember! Volunteers engage with classmates to encourage attendance and Annual Fund participation, plan or host Friday evening class parties and manage social media class pages. To learn more or to volunteer, please contact Robyn Guerin at +1-434-924-6798.

Reunion Giving

Reunions are milestones — occasions for alumni to commemorate their place in Darden’s history, reflect on what Darden means to them and renew and deepen ties to the Darden community. Reunion celebrations are also a time when classes focus their fundraising efforts to increase giving and demonstrate their commitment to the School.

Reunion campaigns seek to secure five-year pledges that form the backbone of the Darden Annual Fund. The Annual Fund provides critical operating support for the Darden enterprise that enables Dean Bruner to take advantage of new opportunities, respond to challenges and invest strategically in the future. Commitments secured during reunion years enable the dean to forecast income for the next four years. For more information, please contact Robyn Guerin at +1-434-924-6798.
