In addition to managing the global academic portfolio offered to our full-time MBA students, DCGI also supports co-curricular and community-wide initiatives that promote a global perspective at Darden. This supports DCGI's mission of strengthening and expanding Darden's global community by providing educational opportunities. DCGI works closely with our international student population, our six international affinity clubs, and our Career Development Center to bring international awareness and opportunities to our community.
As almost a third of the full-time MBA class consists of international students from all over the world, DCGI works with students to create learning opportunities that showcase the unique culture and experience of our international students. One such highlight is the Country Spotlight Lunch Series, which DCGI co-sponsors with the International Business Society club; this event creates a platform for a group of students from a particular country or region of the world to share some of the history, culture, and business climate of their home regions and create dialogues about important international issues with the wider Darden community.
DCGI also engages international students through a Vice President of Diversity & International in the Darden Student Association and through student advisory groups such as the International Student Advisory Group and Career Development Center International Student Advisory Group. DCGI welcomes student feedback on all aspects of the student experience and is committed to help create a rich, global student experience. Learn more about the International MBA Community.

Global Career Opportunities
DCGI works with the Darden Career Development Center (CDC) on various business development efforts to promote international employment and engagement opportunities for Darden students. The CDC offers a variety of resources and workshops for both international and domestic students wanting to work internationally and for international students wanting to work in the United States. Each year, the CDC helps support student job treks to international locations such as Shanghai, London, Beijing, and Hong Kong. DCGI hosts many prominent international visitors throughout the year and reaches out to Darden's wide network of international alumni to explore potential work and educational opportunities for students.
