Jolene manages nutrition and health risk reduction services at UVA-WorkMed. She develops and delivers health, fitness and nutrition interventions for public and corporate clients, designs nutrition assessments and provides individual nutrition counseling. She has spoken at numerous workshops and conferences on nutrition and health. In addition, she provides nutrition information to local physicians. She has served on the board of the Emergency Food Bank, and provided nutrition consultation to nursing homes, weight loss programs, school systems and Head Start. She co-authored The Lunch Book and Bag
, a nutrition primer for children and parents, winner of a “Parent’s Choice” award. She received a B.S. from Brigham Young University and her M.P.H. from the University of California at Berkeley.
