The Inn at Darden: TEP participants stay at the Inn at Darden, adjacent to the Darden Grounds. The residence center includes air-conditioned rooms, each with a private bath, cable TV, a private-line phone system featuring voicemail and a high-speed Internet hookup; discussion-group rooms which offer high-tech connections to Darden’s telephone, video and computer networks; a fully equipped exercise room; and a recreation room.
|
The Gatehouse: The Gatehouse, a classically detailed lobby, serves as a reception area for participants. A gathering area in the lower level of the Gatehouse is designed as a meeting place where participants can continue to discuss learnings and network.
|
The Abbott Center: The majority of meals are served in the Abbott Center dining room (adjacent to the classroom building and near the Inn at Darden), which is well-known for its excellent food and outstanding service. In addition, there are social dinners planned which are held in conjunction with certain program activities.

The Classroom: Classes are held on the Darden Grounds. The state-of-the-art classrooms specifically support Darden’s participant-centered teaching methods. There are rooms available for group discussions and class preparations, all fully equipped with computer workstations, as well as a complete business library with online access to major databases.
Social Activities: Special social activities are planned throughout the program. Recently, these have included athletic events and other outdoor activities, as well as opportunities to visit the Blue Ridge Mountains. Although free time is obviously limited during TEP, taking part in sports and recreation can offer an enjoyable break in the busy schedule.
Around Charlottesville: Should you extend your stay in Charlottesville, there are many options for exciting, fun, and educational things to do.
