As part of the Professional Advancement Course (PAC), you will gain direct experience with executive coaching. An executive coach will work one-on-one with you, benefiting both you and your employer.
Through your experiences in the "Leading Organizations" and "Management Communications" courses, and in Leadership Residencies I and II, you will naturally begin to identify a leadership or management challenge you face in your job.
The executive coaching component of PAC begins with helping you identify the skills you will need to hone in order to overcome this challenge. The process continues as you work one-on-one with an executive coach to master that leadership challenge (e.g., building a high performing team, dealing with a difficult employee, or managing conflicting stakeholders) in the context of the business objectives (e.g., growing the business or introducing a new accounting system).
Your leadership coaching experience will consist of five executive coaching sessions and will include a graded deliverable, in which you will document your progress, takeways and future leadership implications.
