Love is Love

Hosted by Gays, Lesbians and Allies at Darden (GLAD) and sponsored by Johnson & Johnson, this year’s Love is Love events will include a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Marketing Panel, which will examine marketing to the LGBT population and its diverse demographic groups.

"Egypt: The Writing of a New Dawn"

A seasoned regional executive with domain expertise in several sectors and disciplines, Moustapha Sarhank is also a postgraduate scholar in the fields of business ethics and religion. He will discuss the current political and economic situation in Egypt and the region when he presents at Darden on 29 February in Classroom 50. Latin America: A New Economic Power

The Latin American Student Association’s 2012 conference will examine economic and business opportunities in Latin America with two sessions: “Latin America Economic Outlook” and “Successful Business Experiences in Latin America.”

Private Equity Conference

The Darden Private Equity Club’s inaugural conference will feature “An Overview of the Current State of Private Equity,” a keynote address from Elizabeth Weymouth (MBA ’94), partner of Riverstone Holdings LLC and member of the Darden School Foundation Board of Trustees. Panels will examine today’s market, leveraged buyouts and the future of private equity.
