Biography

Denise Karaoli joined the Darden’s Career Development Center in October of 2006, was promoted to Associate Director in 2010 while also overseeing CDC’s Diversity Initiatives. As Associate Director of International Programs and Opportunities & Diversity, she leads international and minority programming, business development and resource implementation. As CDC faculty advisor to Darden’s Asian Business Club; Black Business Student Forum; African Business Organization; South Asia Society; European Society; GLAD, Hispanic American Network; International Business Society; Latin American Student Association; and Emerging Markets Clubs, Denise works with the club leadership to coordinate career development activities and company outreach.

Denise received her MA in International Relations and spent a majority of her career with international (Asian; European, and Middle Eastern) marketing and consulting firms and senior leadership in higher education at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard and the President’s and Provost’s Office at UVA.
