Polly Black teaches Social Media strategy in the Executive Education program and Hot Topics in Marketing in the second year MBA program. She is also currently working on developing cases and materials for the marketing curriculum.
Herself a Darden graduate, Black brings to the classroom over twenty years of diverse business and marketing experience in business strategy, target identification, brand positioning, advertising, promotion, social media and new product development. Her experience spans start-up, turnaround and growth situations and ranges from entrepreneurial initiatives to senior levels of Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, she was the CMO for a social media agency and is now the Principal of BrandCurrents, a marketing services company with a passion for building strong brands through strategic insight, strong positioning and great communications.
