Class Visits

When you attend a Class Visit Day, you'll sit alongside current Executive MBA students in a class led by a member of Darden’s faculty. You'll also have lunch with executive MBA students, professors and staff. Executive MBA Class Visit Days are typically available once a month.

Open Houses

What Happens at an Executive MBA Open House?

Throughout the year, Darden hosts Open Houses during our GEMBA and EMBA residencies to give prospective students a firsthand look at our Executive MBA formats — which share the same faculty, curriculum and case method experience as the full-time MBA format. Each event includes a full day of programming to give applicants an opportunity to learn more about the GEMBA and EMBA formats, ask questions and assess their fit with Darden.

At an Open House you will:

  • Observe or participate in a case method discussion led by Darden's top-ranked faculty
  • Engage in a Q & A session with a member of the School’s senior leadership team
  • Enjoy lunch with current Executive MBA students and learn about their experiences in the program

Spouses and significant others are welcome to attend.

The next Open House will take place in the fall of 2013. You can still experience the Darden case method, faculty, and community when you join us in May for a Class Visit Day.

Fridays in July

Want to visit Darden in the summer? Please join us for a Friday in July. You'll meet in Saunders Hall for lunch with the Admissions team, take a tour of the Darden Grounds and have the opportunity to speak with Admissions Committee members, students and faculty. Leave your suit at home and spend an afternoon learning more about the Darden experience from members of our community.

Admissions representatives also travel to MBA forums and fairs during the fall and winter. Darden will host approximately 50 global prospective student receptions throughout this time.
