The first residency of the Global MBA for Executives program will take place at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in Charlottesville, Virginia in August (visit Academic Calendar for proposed dates). During the residency, you’ll meet your GEMBA classmates, professors and staff, you’ll attend case method classes and you’ll visit influential companies and historic sites in Virginia.
Courses taught during "Term 1: Leading the Global Enterprise" and this residency include:

- Managing Global Processes
- Understanding Global Markets
- Decision Analysis
- Global Leadership Explorations (experiential)

Orientation
- Meet the GEMBA cohort, faculty and staff
- Meet your learning team; team building activities
- Lunch at the Abbott Center Dining Room
- Evening reception and dinner at Dean Robert F. Bruner’s home

- Mixture of class sessions, company visits and Global Leadership Exploration activities.
