Student Organizations
A variety of Darden student organizations focus specifically on global issues. These organizations provide an opportunity for students to connect with other members of the Darden community who share similar interests in global business affairs. Activities of the student-run clubs include organizing conferences, sponsoring speakers and planning extracurricular events that highlight foreign cultures and economies. Career Advancement
Darden’s Career Development Center is committed to assisting students with every stage of their career search. Denise Karaoli, assistant director of international programs and opportunities, is specifically dedicated to helping international students, as well as U.S. students interested in working abroad, by identifying, pursuing and securing positions that meet their career goals.
Global Academic Opportunities
Darden offers a variety of global academic opportunities, including exchange programs, for-credit experiential consulting projects and Global Business Experiences, international weeklong courses held that enable students to explore international business issues in countries outside of the United States.
The Charlottesville Community
The Office of Student Affairs directs a program for incoming international students to cover important details about living and studying in the United States and to help with relocation. The Darden Partners Association (DPA) offers support and social activities to make everyone feel welcome during their time in Charlottesville.
