Global Academic Opportunities
Darden offers a variety of global academic opportunities, including exchange programs, for-credit experiential consulting projects and Global Business Experiences, international weeklong courses held that enable students to explore international business issues in countries outside of the United States.
The Charlottesville Community
The Office of Student Affairs directs an orientation program for incoming international students to cover important details about living and studying in the United States and to help with relocation. The Darden Partners Association (DPA) also offers support and social activities to make families feel welcome during their time in Charlottesville.
Recently ranked as the best place to live in the United States by USA Today, Charlottesville offers the amenities of a large city while maintaining the aesthetic charm of a small town that is comfortable, friendly and easy to navigate. The city’s central East Coast location makes it easily accessible to other major cities such as Washington, D.C., and New York.
