This club is intended for all Darden students, partners, faculty and staff who are interested in the exploration and discussion of topics in business and public policy. Examples of such topics are health care, environmental legislation, education, farming subsidies, financial regulations and immigration policies. Throughout the year, we will meet to engage in discussions and develop a greater understanding of the relationships between business and public policy.
The Business & Public Policy Club is a joint club between the Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy and the Darden School of Business. While each school maintains separate memberships and officers, all members work together to fulfill the missions of the club.
To connect students from both the Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy and the Darden School of Business to engage in action-oriented discourse and establish mutual responsibility for the societal effects of business and public policy decisions. Additionally, to promote cross-curricular education of issues and professional opportunities among future public policy and business leaders.
