Darden Capital Management is excited to announce its inaugural Darden @ Virginia Investing Challenge (DVIC) in conjunction with the University of Virginia Investing Conference (UVIC). DVIC will bring together eight teams of students from top MBA programs to compete for a cash prize of $3,000. In addition to the cash prize, we are excited to offer all participants free accommodations, admissions to UVIC, and tickets to the UVA vs. UNC football game on Thursday night.
The challenge will select a key theme from the Conference to provide a framework for each school's stock pitch, and investment management professionals will serve as judges. This competition will not only provide students with the opportunity to practice their stock pitching skills, but it will serve as a venue for recruitment and knowledge sharing, as UVIC brings together nearly 600 investment professionals, recruiters, and students each year.
