Tee Valentine - Co-President & Chief Investment Officer

Tee graduated in 2008 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Business Administration.  Prior to attending Darden, Tee spent 4 years as a research analyst for Impala Asset Management in New York City focusing on mid and large cap equities in the US.  Before joining Impala, Tee worked as a project manager for Designline International Holdings, a manufacturer of diesel-electric hybrid commercial vehicles, in Christchurch, New Zealand.  

Christine Brown - Co-President & Chief Operating Officer

Christine graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development and History.  Christine came to Darden after spending four years in the finance industry in New York City.  Most recently, Christine worked as a finance and strategy associate at the Gerson Lehrman Group.  In this role Christine served the CFO in analyzing financial projections of the business segments along with other strategic projects at the firm.  Prior to Gerson Lehrman, Christine worked at Jefferies & Company as a Consumer and Gaming Investment Banking analyst.  Christine will be interning this summer for MetLife Private Capital. 

Samuel Hutchings, CFA – Director of Research

Sam graduated from the College of the Holy Cross, magna cum laude, with a B.A in both Economics and Philosophy in 2008. After graduating, Sam worked as an Investment Management Consultant with FactSet Research Systems, Inc. focusing on the Mid-Atlantic region. In 2011, Sam joined Eaton Vance Investment Management as an Equity Research Associate. Sam provided direct support for two Portfolio Managers managing the buy-write and covered-call fund strategies with over $8 billion dollars in equity assets. In the summer between first and second year at Darden, Sam worked as an Associate Analyst with Wells Capital Management's Select Equity Team.
