Joe Geissenhainer - Co-President & Chief Investment Officer
Joe graduated from Villanova University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and is a Level I candidate for the CFA. Joe came to Darden after spending six years in the finance industry. Most recently, Joe worked at Dyson Capital Advisors, a multi-family office, and was responsible for investment manager due diligence, selection and client relationships. Prior to Dyson, Joe spent four years with J.P. Morgan in a variety of positions in the firm’s Private Bank and Investment Bank divisions. During the summer after his first year at Darden, he joined Chatham Financial.
Jack Bryant - Co-President & Chief Operating Officer
Prior to attending Darden, Jack spent five years in New York City with BlackRock. At BlackRock, Jack worked for the US Retail Product Strategy and Development Team within the Global Client Group. In this role, Jack served institutional and retail clients, including corporate, public, union and industry pension plans; endowments; foundations; charities; corporations; official institutions. Jack focused primarily on launching and seeding new fund strategies, including closed-end funds, open-end funds, registered hedge funds, and other opportunistic vehicles. Jack graduated cum laude from the University of the South in 2007 with a degree in Economics. During the summer after his first year at Darden, he interned for Barclays Capital.
Chris Lawrence – Director of Research
Chris graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2008 with a degree in English, Communication Studies and Managerial Studies. After college, Chris spent two years in political consulting, where he directed regional strategy for a presidential campaign and managed online strategy for several high-profile federal races. After his time in politics, he worked in a client strategy role at AARP, a top national publisher of online and print media. Chris also explored his interest in Real Estate before coming to Darden, working with a multi-family housing development business in the D.C. area.
During the summer after his first year at Darden, Chris interned with the Brokerage/Capital Markets teams at Cushman & Wakefield. He also undertook a part-time internship with Patagonia Ventures, LLC, a real estate investment and development firm, where he conducted financial analysis, fundraising and investor relations work for a 2,000 acre land development project near Tucson, AZ.
