Saurabh Dagia, President

Dagia is born and brought up in Bombay and studied at IIT Bombay. He spent his working years shuttling between different cities in India (and different companies) in consulting and operations. He will spend his summer enjoying the gorgeous weather in Seattle hoping to spend as little time as possible indoors at Amazon.com.

Hobbies: Skiing, Squash

Arsh Ghuman, VP Marketing

  Hailing from the Conrete Jungle of New York City, Arsh is enjoying her time in Charlottesville. Prior to Darden, Arsh worked in market research consulting and was a small business owner. She has a degree in Politics from NYU. This summer she will be going further away from the Big Apple to Charlotte, NC at Bank of America.

Favorite Darden moment: So many moments! Including, case competitions, spending time

Hobbies: Cooking, Choreographing Bollywood dances, Completing 1000-piece puzzles.


Stacey Cruz, VP Finance

Hobbies: Cooking, reading, planning social events, visiting museums

Sanjeev Gupta, VP Careers

Sanjeev is originally from Haridwar, India and studied engineering at IIT Kanpur. He worked at KPMG Management Consulting in Bangalore before coming to Darden. This summer, Sanjeev will be working with Crane co in a operations role at their facilities in Cincinnati, OH and Long Beach, CA. As the VP of careers, Sanjeev is to make sure that DSAS members are well prepared for recruitment and up to date with career related activities at Darden

Favorite Darden moment: Long list! But to name a few - performing in the International Food Festival and practicing with seniors, playing prank on a friend on 1st April, standing up in a class from skydeck to give a comment, halloween after party, winning cricket tournament against Maryland after 3 years!

Hobbies: Playing poker, Travelling

Saumya Chaturvedi, VP Communications

Saumya was born in Lucknow, India and studied in Delhi University in New Delhi, India where she majored in Economics. She has over four years of experience in equity research and management consulting prior to Darden. She will be in Atlanta over the summer, interning with The Home Depot in their Marketing department. As VP, Communications, Saumya's job includes keeping all of DSAS, Darden, and the larger UVa community in the know about the club's exciting upcoming events.. 

Favorite Darden moment: So hard to pick one! But I'd say getting the internship offer after months of recruiting.

Hobbies: Reading books, cooking, and travelling

Harsha Nagaraj, VP Alumni Relations 

  Harsha is originally from Bangalore in India, where he graduated with a engineering degree in Computer Science. Prior to Darden, Harsha worked at Intel Corporation in various roles in engineering, product management and people management. For the summer, he will be interning at Dell Inc in Austin, Texas and is looking forward to the food and music scene in the city. An avid runner, he is also looking to dust off his running shoes after more than 6 months.

Arpita Bansal, VP Social Events

Arpita is from Rajasthan. Prior to Darden, She worked in consulting for 4 years. This summer, Arpita will be interning as a Senior Advisor in Dell's marketing division in Austin, TX. As VP, Events of DSAS, she is responsible for organizing  events that promote the business aspects of the club’s mission within the Darden community

Favorite Darden moment: Difficult to anwser, but I would say the HOLI party in which we ensured that everyone has colors on their face

Hobbies: Dancing, Traveling

Yachna Khare, VP Social Events

"Yachna grew up in a small and beautiful city, Chandigarh in the northern part of India. A software engineer, Yachna has worked in the technology industry for six years, mostly with Adobe Systems. She is a trained jazz dancer and loves dancing on the stage and on the dance floor. She enjoys writing and her news articles have appeared on Google news multiple times. She is also a Darden student blogger.  As the VP social for DSAS, her goal is to ensure that all DSAS members have a memorable time at Darden by means of social activities that bring us together. She's looking forward to an exciting summer while working as a Product Manager for Expedia in Seattle."

Favorite Darden moment: Tons of them! Winning the Darden brand challenge. Visit to Veritas vineyard during my first week at Darden. IFFand bollywood dancing at several occasions. Ice skating at halloween party. Finally, all the DSAS parties with yummy Indian food.

Hobbies: Writing, reading books and tech blogs, Cooking, travelling, painting/sketching
