President: Andrew Clayton
Andrew graduated in 2008 with a degree in International Politics from Georgetown University. Prior to Darden he worked in the global gas group at PFC Energy, an oil and gas consultancy based in Washington, DC. Andrew will be spending the summer at ConocoPhillips in the MBA Development Program.
VP Finance: Hemal Thakore
Hemal graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a major in Business Administration (concentration in Finance). Prior to Darden, he worked at UBS in their Equity Capital Markets Group, covering Industrial and Consumer/Retail companies. After UBS, Hemal worked at Deloitte in their Financial Instrument Valuation Group, focusing on Structured Products. This summer he will be interning at Celanese Corporation, in the firm's Leadership Development Program.
VP Conferences and Speakers: Ryan Wheeler
Prior to Darden, Ryan was a management consultant for Fidelity Investments in Boston for three years, then at ScottMadden, Inc., a Consulting Firm focused on the Power sector. His energy experience includes supply chain management, demand response, and smart grid, but he will be expanding his experience in the power sector while interning with GE Power and Water this summer. Ryan graduated in 2007 with a degree in Engineering Sciences and Economics from Dartmouth College.
VP Outings and Social Events: Jacqueline Rees
Jacqui graduated in 2007 with a Mechanical Engineering from Monash University and started her career in Perth, Western Australia with an offshore oil and gas design firm. Her work experience prior to Darden includes subsea component design and integrity management for offshore oil operators. This summer Jacqui will be interning at Exxon Mobil in Perth in a strategy and planning role.
VP Careers: Su Liu
Su graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University in 2008. Prior to Darden, he worked for DuPont in continuous improvement and process engineering roles before joining Southern Research Institute to support applied R&D efforts at coal fired power plants in response to the EPA's recent Mercury and Air Toxics Standards (MATS). This summer Su will be interning for Celanese in Dallas, TX.
VP Communications and Outreach: Jennifer Hagan
Jenny graduated from Wake Forest University in 2008 with a degree in Analytical Finance. Her work experience prior to Darden includes investment banking, entrepreneurial strategy and nonprofit fundraising. This summer, Jenny will be interning at Apex Wind Energy in business development.
