GMO Kickoff Meeting (August 27, 2012)
Initial meeting for first year students to get acquainted with the opportunities provided by the club. Sponsorship would entail recognition during presentation and event emails.
The GMO Forum (September 21-22, 2012)
The GMO Forum is a symposium of general managers in a multitude of industries brought together to provide the Darden community with insights into the various career options within the sphere of general management. The Forum gives companies the opportunity to discuss their general management roles and to network with other professionals and with MBA students interested in general management-related career paths.
The GMO Forum includes panel discussions and presentations in addition to a cocktail reception and dinner at the Boar’s Head Inn, a 573 acre estate with three restaurants, a spa, and a championship golf course. This will provide more one-on-one interaction with students.
GMO Social Events
Social events that allow GMO club members to network with company representatives in an informal setting (this can be customized for either first-year attendance, second-year attendance, or all members).
