The Healthcare Club organizes a variety of panels throughout the school year for students who wish to learn more about the industry, as well as inform about career opportunities. For example, the second-year student-led Career panel at the beginning of the academic year is a Q&A session for students who wish to learn more about panelists' healthcare summer internships.
Healthcare Speaker Series
The Healthcare Club organizes a year-long speaker series, often in collaboration with other clubs (Consulting, Marketing, etc) to bring distinguished speakers on-grounds. The series provides an opportunity for students to learn first-hand the business issues that healthcare companies currently face. Furthermore, they provide a forum for learning and speaking the healthcare vernacular in addition to providing students with an opportunity to hear how industry professionals think through these issues.
The Healthcare Club plans and organizes a wide range of events throughout the school year, including an experiential learning trip to organizations within the UVA Health System, happy hour mixers with Healthcare associations of other UVA Graduate schools, lunches with Darden Healthcare faculty members, and sponsored trips to MBA Healthcare Conferences and Case Competitions.
