International Business Society (IBS)

The International Business Society (IBS) is an organization that aims to improve the international experience for all Darden students and partners. We aim to serve three main purposes:

  • Coordination: IBS also works to help coordinate the efforts of Darden’s regional affinity clubs (ABCD, DABO, DSAS, ES, LASA).
  • Career: We seek to prepare Darden students to work in cultures other than their own and with people of diverse multicultural backgrounds. Moreover, we work on finding more career opportunities overseas.  On this point, we also strive to continuously engage in dialogue and discussion about how to strengthen the Darden brand internationally.
  • Social: We aim to create a great social environment in which international and domestic students can create enduring friendships – also outside of classrooms and events.
