W Bradley Burnett – President
Prior to Darden, Brad worked for a startup company that specializes in environmentally preferable cleaning products for the B2B market. As Director of Sales, Brad helped the company expand nationally and worked with clients from mom-and-pop stores to Fortune 500 companies to help minimize their environmental imprint. Brad has travelled to 30 or so countries and all but 10 U.S. states and is a Southern California native with a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley. He loves life, especially so when it involves hummus, craft beer, athletics, oceans, or some combination thereof.
Liang Wang – Vice President, Speakers & Events
Liang studied finance in college. Following her graduation, she started her career in the China Banking Regulatory Commission, the national regulatory authority for banking institutions in China, and worked with a variety of financial companies and government organizations. She is interning at Eastman Chemical this summer. She also enjoys tennis, ping pong and all kinds of music.

Jennifer Krondon – Vice President, Careers
After graduating from the University of Virginia, Jen spent several years working with local businesses in Charlottesville before finding her way into the Virginia wine industry. She is most interested in using the skills learned at Darden to help small business owners around the world. In her free time, Jen enjoys reading, wine tasting, and riding horses.
Benjamin Margolis – Vice President, Campus Greening & Curriculum Change
Prior to Darden, Ben worked as an engineer for a commercial scale solar PV company, designing and managing projects worldwide. As part of the Darden Incubator, Ben will be working on creating a sustainable residential energy efficiency business model for municipal utilities.
Brian Gavron – Vice President, Marketing & Communications
Brian started his career at Booz Allen Hamilton, a government consulting firm, in Washington, DC and supported a variety of defense clients. Following his time at Booz Allen, he left to pursue an opportunity in Accra, Ghana, where he taught business to high-potential Ghanaians as part of a non-profit school and technology start-up incubator. Brian attended the University of Virginia, where he received his undergraduate degree in Commerce and is happy to be back in Charlottesville. He is interning at Accenture in Washington, DC.
Laurel Nguyen - Vice President, Finance
Laurel studied Economics and International Relations at Tufts University and started her career in Washington, DC. Her work experience prior to Darden includes financial and strategy research, as well as nonprofit management. This summer, Laurel will take on a strategy role at the Grand Canyon National Park. Laurel enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, and gardening.
Laura Durity - Vice President, Conference
After practicing law for four years, Laura returned to Darden to explore the intersection of business, regulation, and policy. Laura received both a BA in public policy and a JD from Duke University. She will be interning in the Division of Banking Regulation and Supervision at the Federal Reserve in Washington, DC this summer. Laura enjoys (but does not get enough) hiking, skiing, and mountain biking.

David Solana - Vice President, Farmer's Market
David previously worked on environmental protection and agribusiness projects in Guinea. He is interested in high-impact start-ups as an effective means to solving the problems he previously tackled through government intervention.

Heather Gates - Director of Board Fellows
Heather graduated from the Coast Guard Academy and served five years in the Coast Guard. She left the Coast Guard to pursue other interests and became a bank examiner for the state of Washington. Heather loves the outdoors and spent the past seven years hiking, camping and skiing throughout the Pacific Northwest.
