Club Officers

Andrew Benjamin, CFA, President                         

Andrew is a 2008 graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he earned a BS in Business with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics. Prior to Darden, Andrew spent four years in Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Alternative Investment Group where he was a member of the global investment team. Prior to that, Andrew worked for Citadel Investment Group. Andrew will be working with Houlihan Lokey this summer in the firm's Financial Restructuring Group. Andrew earned his CFA charter in 2012. 

 

Kenneth Forbess, Vice President of Careers            

Kenny is a 2008 graduate of the University of Florida, where he earned a B.S. in Building Construction with minors in Business Administration and Real Estate.  Prior to Darden, Kenny was a Combat Engineer officer in the United States Army at Fort Benning, GA.  He achieved the rank of Captain and held the positions of Platoon Leader, Special Operations Task Force Engineer, and Operations Officer.

 

George Richardson, Vice President of Finance

George is a 2006 graduate of the University of North Carolina with a B.A. in economics. Prior to Darden, George was an Account Executive in the fixed income sales division of Duncan-Williams, a regional investment bank. In this capacity, he helped institutional clients achieve their investment strategies through the use of government agency debt, corporate and municipal bonds, and mortgage-backed securities. Before joining Duncan-Williams, George was Assistant Vice President of fixed income at Aladdin Capital, a broker-dealer in Stamford, CT specializing in corporate bonds and structured products. George previously worked in the firm's hedge fund division where he assisted portfolio managers trading credit derivatives and corporate bonds. George holds his Series 7 and 63 licenses, and will be working with Wells Fargo Securities this summer in the Consumer, Healthcare, and Gaming investment banking division. 

 

John Hartman, Vice President of Events

John is a 2005 graduate of The University of Virginia, where he earned a BS in Commerce with a concentration in Accounting. Prior to Darden, John was an analyst at Cary Street Partners, a middle market investment bank.  John also gained experience as a senior associate at KPMG LLP, a global professional services firm, as a part of the audit division.  He will spend his summer interning in J.P. Morgan's Leveraged Finance Group.
