Rohit is a member of the Darden MBA Class of 2013. He was born and brought up in a small town located in the foothills of the Himalayas in North India. After high school he did his engineering degree in computer science and joined McAfee as a software development engineer, where he worked for 3 years in the risk and compliance business unit. His work involved writing software modules for antivirus solutions for enterprise customers and debugging and resolving critical customer issues.

Rohit decided to come to Darden to be a part of a highly engaging and collaborative intellectual environment and to transfer his analytical abilities and problem-solving skills from technology to business.

He is an ardent reader who likes to read books on diverse topics. He loves to spend his time in libraries and book shops, browsing books on a variety of topics. Writing is his passion; he regularly writes to editors of newspapers and in the past has contributed a few articles in the Indian national dailies and magazines. He loves to cook and occasionally invites his friends for discussions over dinners.
