Sara is a proud Double Hoo as a member of the Darden MBA Class of 2012. Born and raised in Baltimore, Sara went on to UVA undergrad where she held three leadership positions in Delta Delta Delta sorority. Sara moved to Washington, D.C. after graduating in 2006 and started working at Edelman Public Relations. Following Edelman, she completed a two year Master’s program at Johns Hopkins University with a dual concentration in Political Communications and Public and Media Relations. Sara went back into the PR world and started working at a health communications firm before applying to business school (only one!) and moving back to Charlottesville.

Sara came to Darden to bridge the gap between public relations and marketing, and she interned in brand management at Johnson & Johnson this past summer. The youngest of four, she is fluent in Farsi and tries to get a few new passport stamps every year. She enjoys exploring Charlottesville, running, Facebooking, dancing, and all things pop culture.
