Shaheli grew up in Calcutta and came to Boston as an impressionable college student. After spending four extraordinary years at Wellesley making some awesome friends and learning some algorithms and demand curves on the way, she joined a B2B cloud-based software company in San Francisco to escape the harsh winters of New England.  In her five years at BigMachines, she watched the company quadruple in size and moved from role to role in product management, technical services and development management to help with the explosive growth.  Somewhere along the way, she moved to Chicago thus proving that one can never escape from harsh winters. 

Her sports allegiances are widespread and she claims not at all conflicting. She will always cheer for India in Cricket, Red Sox for baseball, Da Bears for football and the Giants for Basketball.  She is keeping her ice hockey and soccer allegiances open for the future.
