Two influential business leaders, both with ties to the Darden School of Business, will share the stage next week as the Darden Leadership Speaker Series kicks off.
President and CEO, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets Ralph de la Vega and Managing Director, North America, Accenture Walt Shill (MBA’86) will participate in a “fireside chat” in the Abbott Auditorium on September 15 at 1:30 p.m.
Shill, in addition to being a Darden graduate, is a member of the Darden School Foundation Board of Trustees. Meanwhile, de la Vega is a 1994 graduate of The Executive Program at Darden.
Both men are accustomed to being in the spotlight and sharing their expertise. Shill is often sought after by the media for his insights into business. For example, he was interviewed on CNBC in June http://www.cnbc.com/id/15840232?video=1153909456&play=1.
Mr. de la Vega has written a soon-to-be-released book, Obstacles Welcome: How to Turn Adversity into Advantage in Business and in Life. For more on Mr. de la Vega’s background, go to the AT&T site: http://www.att.com/gen/investor-relations?pid=9812.
