Beginning next Wednesday, October 28 at 1:30 p.m., Darden will launch the third annual Sustainability and Renewable Energy Forum, which will continue through Thursday, Oct. 29. The initial panel will focus on the role of sustainability in the “new economy.”
Co-sponsored by Net Impact and the Energy Clubs with support from the Marketing, GMO & Finance clubs, the event will bring together several industry powerhouses, including senior representatives from GE, MeadWestvaco, APEX Wind and Constellation Energy. The various panelists will discuss the challenges and opportunities of operating in a world constrained by limited resources. Lunch will be served at the panels.
The Forum will also feature keynote addresses from two widely respected speakers -- Andris Cukurs, CEO of Suzlon North America from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday and Ray Anderson
, Founder and Chairman of Interface from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday.
