Due to the continued impact of Hurricane Sandy, classes at the University of Virginia are canceled for Tuesday, 30 October. In a statement
published on the University of Virginias’s website, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Patrick D. Hogan states, “Hurricane Sandy remains a dangerous storm and we are continuing to monitor its impact on our region. Due to the continually changing weather patterns and in order to ensure the safety of our students, faculty and staff, we have decided that classes will be canceled on Tuesday, 30 October.”
