The primary goal of the
International Business Society (IBS) is to improve the international experience
for all Darden students and partners. We aim to serve three main purposes:
- Facilitate Collaboration: IBS works to help coordinate
the efforts of Darden's regional affinity clubs (ABCD, DABO, DSAS, ES, LASA)
and also help these clubs collaborate amongst themselves to provide their
members a rich multicultural experience.
- Career: We
seek to prepare Darden students to work in cultures other than their own and
with people of diverse multicultural backgrounds. Moreover, we work on finding
more career opportunities overseas by partnering with VP of Internationals at
various career clubs (Consulting, Finance, GMO, Marketing etc.). On this point,
we also strive to continuously engage in dialogue and discussion about how to
strengthen the Darden brand internationally.
- Social:
We aim to create a great social environment in which international and
domestic students can create enduring friendships - through events outside of
classrooms.
24th Annual International Food Festival (IFF) will be
held on September 30th, Sunday.
