Sarah Wilcox Elliott serves the Darden School as the Director of Student Affairs. Sarah provides advising to student clubs, oversees the club leadership transition process, and offers day to day counseling and trouble-shooting support for current MBA students. Prior to this position, Sarah was an Assistant Dean in UVa's Office of the Dean of Students from 2006 to 2009. As a Student Affairs professional, she has also worked in diversity programming and residence life at the College of William and Mary and Northern Arizona University. Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2001 and her Masters in Higher & Postsecondary Education from Arizona State University in 2003. Sarah lives in Charlottesville with her husband Chris, who is the Director of Student Services at the McIntire Undergraduate Business School. In her free time, Sarah enjoys pilates, book clubs, Top Chef, and taking care of their three precocious felines.

Kristen Pappas
Kristen Pappas serves as the Interim Associate Director of Student Affairs for International Programs at Darden. Kristen provides guidance to our international affinity clubs, develops new initiatives that help support international students' academic and social needs, assists with daily student inquiries, and oversees the Darden Exchange Student programs. Kristen earned a Master of Arts in International Education from the School for International Training and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Dayton. Prior to her current role, Kristen served as the International Activities Coordinator at Darden for two years and the Assistant Director of Academic Affairs and Field at the Semester at Sea Program for two years. She also obtained a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and taught Business English in Santiago, Chile. Kristen lives in Charlottesville with her husband Jesse and they both enjoy partaking in all that Charlottesville has to offer, such as all the live music venues, historical sites, wineries, and unique eateries in the area. She is also an avid traveler and is always looking for a new adventure.

Karen Marshall
Karen Marshall is the Student Affairs Associate. Karen provides support and services to the MBA program and is a resource for students regarding a wide variety of issues. Prior to joining Student Affairs, Karen served as Office Manager & Conference Coordinator for the ROMAC Laboratory in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering. She has also worked in various capacities throughout the University including serving as the Executive Administrative Assistant to the Chairman of Internal Medicine at UVa, and Administrative Assistant at the School of Continuing & Professional Studies. Karen also owned and operated her own daycare center for nine years and worked part time as a wedding photographer. She lives with her husband Randall and two children in Ruckersville. In her free time, she enjoys working with community service events, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.
