Darden Life Design Lab

Our flagship workshop introduces and applies design thinking concepts from the book Designing Your Life and helps you tap into your unique answer for living a rich and meaningful life. Meeting in small peer groups of Darden alumni, we’ll guide you through a series of exercises and deep discussion around your motivations and goals. You’ll build life design understanding, work in community and make progress towards meaningful change. 

Darden Life Design Lab — Retirement Focus

We are excited to introduce Design Your Life – Retirement Focus, a new workshop designed to support alumni who are in—or beginning to think seriously about—the transition to retirement. This experience is intended to help you uncover your evolving values and priorities and thoughtfully map what’s next, whether that includes an encore career, deeper engagement in existing passions, or a reimagined second act. 

Darden Life Design — Odyssey Circle

Launched in January 2026 and offered to previous Life Design Lab participants, Odyssey Circle is a monthly, alumni-only gathering designed to help you extend your Life Design practice long after the workshop ends. Each one-hour session offers a theme drawn from core Life Design tools and space for open conversation and peer support. Whether you completed the Life Design Lab five weeks ago or five years ago, you’re invited to reconnect with the tools, the community and your own sense of possibility.
