There’s nothing quite like being back on Grounds—catching up with friends over First Coffee, participating in case discussions with beloved faculty, revisiting your favorite spots, and enjoying spring in Charlottesville with your family. Reunion is your chance to relive the best of your Darden days and create new memories along the way.

Who’s invited?
In spring 2027, we’re excited to welcome back alumni from class years ending in 2s and 7s, as well as the Class of 2026. Abbott Society members (Classes of 1957–1976) are also warmly invited to return.

Here’s the ultimate guide to getting Reunion-ready:

  • Stay in the loop. Take a moment to complete our brief pre-Reunion survey and update your contact information. Let us know you’re interested in attending and help shape the weekend by sharing which faculty and experiences you’d most love to revisit.

  • Be a part of it. Reunion is shaped by alumni volunteers. Consider joining your class Reunion Committee. Contact Allie Hayhurst ([email protected]) to learn more and get involved.

  • Plan your stay. Consider booking your room at The Forum Hotel on Darden Grounds. Availability for Reunion Weekend opens mid-May. We’ll send an email reminder to note the exact date in early May. Additional hotel blocks in Charlottesville will be available later this summer.

Reunion Giving

Darden Reunion Weekend draws hundreds of alumni home each year to celebrate their place in Darden’s history, renew and deepen ties to the faculty and Darden community, and reflect on what the School means to them. Reunion giving allows classes to align philanthropy to impact the future of the School and honor its legacy of excellence.

    Darden Reunion Weekend begins at 9 a.m. on Friday, 23 April, and concludes at Noon on Sunday, 25 April. 

     

    FRIDAY, 23 APRIL 2027

    9 a.m. Reunion Check-In opens in Saunders Hall
    9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Classroom sessions with faculty and Alumni Career Services
    6:30 p.m. Class Specific Events 

    SATURDAY, 24 APRIL 2027

    9 – 10 a.m. First Coffee
    10 – 11:30 a.m. Dean’s State of the School Address & Abbott Award Presentation
    11:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Foxfield Races
    Noon – 4:00 p.m Abbott Society, Darden Society, Cornerstone Society, and Volunteer Luncheon
    Afternoon at Leisure (enjoy your free time on Grounds or participate in optional class-organized gatherings)
    6 – 9 p.m. Class Dinners
    9 – 11 p.m. After Party at The Forum Hotel

    SUNDAY, 25 APRIL 2027

    10 a.m. – Noon Alumni Networking Brunch

    Alumni Career Services career coaching and headshots will be available by appointment throughout the weekend.

    Reunion Weekend is a popular time in Charlottesville, with Foxfield Races, weddings, and other events filling hotels quickly. We encourage you to plan your travel early.

    Hotel blocks will be available for your convenience. We will send an email notification as soon as booking details are released, so you can secure your accommodations right away.
