Accelerate your career as an industry leader as you learn from others in the field. In the Bank Executive Leadership Program, you'll examine exactly how you can improve your bank by sharpening your ability to risk, raise capital, conduct competitive analyses and make smarter growth decisions.

    The Program

Presented in partnership with S&P Global Market Intelligence, the banking industry's leading provider of information and knowledge, this program combines leadership training with strategic, whole enterprise thinking and hands-on practice solving your daily business challenges. Each day, you'll analyze real-world cases of current issues in bank finance, and you'll work in small groups with an international cohort of banking peers to develop new strategies and solutions to these challenges. You'll also discuss your own responsibilities and benefit from the feedback of Wall Street advisors and banking consultants. A dinner speaker series and learning team assignments will prompt your intellectual immersion outside the classroom.

You'll begin your curriculum with a discussion of the strategic decisions facing bank executives, including evaluating acquisitions and divestitures, implementing effective risk management, managing capital and liquidity, and addressing regulatory expectations before reviewing strategic ways to make more effective choices. You'll identify the elements of high-performance teams, including how to lead them and how to prepare for and execute a bank transaction. You'll learn valuation methods for assessing and generating bank value, including enterprise risk management. You'll review capital requirements, current debt and equity markets for banks, and strategies for raising capital. You'll also look at the competitive market with an analytical lens and move from tactical to strategic thinking. You'll consider interest rate and liquidity risk and the financial instruments to track them, practice making more effective product line decisions, and debate the strategic importance of bank capital. You'll explore new ways of managing and reducing your bank's exposure to risk and practice scenario analyses in a workshop that will prepare you to turn results into action.
