    Global Leadership in Crisis? A Conversation With UVA Deans on Preparing Leaders for the Unique Challenges of the 21st Century

    How will interdisciplinary knowledge and experience filla critical leadership gap in our ever-evolving socioeconomic andsociopolitical global landscape?

    How can a multi-sector perspective better prepare individualsto lead in a world filled with social movements, ethical scandals, andenvironmental and humanitarian crises?

    Join University of Virginia Executive Vice President and Provost Thomas Katsouleas as he explores these issues in a moderated discussion among the three deans represented in the Tri-SectorLeadership Fellows Program : Dean Scott Beardsley of the Darden School of Business, Dean Risa Goluboff of the University of Virginia School of Law and Dean Allan Stam of the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy.

    The Tri-Sector Leadership Fellows Program is a cross-university effort designed to explore effective, responsible leadership and the importance of multidisciplinary perspectives in decision-making, particularly when confronting some of society's most challenging issues. The fellowship brings together prominent global leaders with graduate students and faculty from UVA's policy, business, and law schools for a series of dynamic discussions.

    Under the direction of Professor Ed Freeman, the Summer Seminar is an opportunity to join the best junior faculty and PhD students in the world with interest in stakeholder theory for a week of learning opportunities and research collaborations, which we hope will create a network of young scholars working in this field, and also give participants direct exposure to some of the leaders in stakeholder theoretical research.
