Christy joined Darden in 2025 with over 20 years of experience in financial services. Before moving to Charlottesville and launching her own consultancy, Christy served as a Managing Director and an Executive Committee Member at Paloma Partners Management Company, a pioneer in the multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund industry. Prior to this, she was a member of the Investment Strategy Team and the Investment Committee for wealth management firm, Balentine. She also managed institutional relationships for the firm.

Other experiences include Vice President at Morgan Stanley Investment Management in manager selection and alternative product development, as well as experience in trading and investing in private placements at various firms.

Christy holds a BA from Duke University, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and an MSW from Smith School for Social Work. She is also certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
