The University of Virginia Darden School of Business continues to climb MBA program rankings — most recently, the School was named No. 9 in the 2026 Financial Times ranking of U.S. full-time MBA programs.

Financial Times RankingUp from No. 10 last year, we are proud to solidify our position in the Top 10 and take the No. 2 spot among public business schools. Darden’s rise is strongly attributed to alumni career outcomes and research impact.

Here is a breakdown of the categories in which the School excelled:

  • No. 4 among U.S. schools for the percentage of 2025 graduates employed at three months post-MBA
  • No. 2 in the world for alumni who felt they had achieved their goals with the degree
  • No. 10 in the world for both quality of alumni network and for alumni salary outcomes (weighted average) three years post-MBA
  • No. 36 in research, an all-time high!
